I can’t believe that we’ve gone this long without this one! The Ka’au Crater Boys version of Brown Eyed Girl was the main reason I became interested in playing Ukulele in the first place! This is probably my favorite ukulele solo of all time. Hope you enjoy this lesson!

Here’s another tune that will most likely get stuck in your head for a few days. Come A’ama Crab is a playful, fun song. It describes the act of catching the delicious crustaceans for a Luau. Have fun with this one, but be warned. It likes to play on repeat in your brain! Lol

E Pili Mai
Here’s a classic from the Peter Moon Band. E Pili Mai is one of those beautiful classics that blend an interesting chord progression with a basic, yet soothing melody. The ukulele part of this song makes it one of the “Hawaiian Ukulele Standards." This is a great song to have in your arsenal!

One of Hawaii’s “Golden Standards”, A Part of Me, a Part of You, by Moe Keale is a fantastic song to learn on ukulele. Also known as the hospital song, this beautiful Mele has quite a bit of the nahenahe picking going on all while having a soothing melody. Hope you enjoy this one!

I Hear Music
Here’s one of my favorite Ka’au Crater Boys covers - I Hear Music. The first time I heard this song was the Billy Kaui version, which is what I think Troy and Ernie were paying homage to. Fell in love with it and been playing it ever since. Here’s the Ka’au version!
