I often mention how the Ka’au Crater Boys, particularly the Valley Style album, heavily influenced my ukulele playing. This was one of my favorite tracks on the album. Ernie and Troy took a song that I loved from the Pahinuis and made it all their own with the Ukulele doing the heavy lifting! A lot of the Banjo-roll stuff I do was “Borrowed” from Troy and this track in particular!
