Hawaii Music School

Hey... So stoked to find this school. I have a strong interest in Polynesian and Caribbean culture and music through surfing, freediving and outrigger paddling but am currently "landlocked" on Lake Superior. Just trying to find the aloha here in the cold, northern waters.

I'm new to ukulele and have a specific interest in learning solo techniques that evoke Hawaiian slack key and Calypso/Reggae rhythms. So far the lessons have been amazing. The only thing I'm not seeing yet is any downloadable material from the lessons... song sheets, tabs, etc. Is there a place where I can find these??

Aloha Scott! I don't really do much paper here. I am not opposed to tab or sheets, but I do feel that those resources should be in the form of notes taken. You get more out of notes you take yourself as opposed to printed material. I follow the old Hawaiian adage, " nana I ka maka, ho'olohe ka peipeiao, pa'a ka waha" as that's the way I learned so it would be disingenuous for me to teach otherwise.
