A lot of people don't know this about me, but my first instrument is guitar. I grew up playing Ki Ho'alu, or slack key, and the style helped to shape my musical identity. Many people tell me that there's something that just sounds really "Hawaiian" about the way I play ukulele.
Pau Hana Jam is a song that I sort of slapped together as a collage of my favorite Ki Ho'alu licks. I never play it the same way twice, LOL! I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do.
