Growing up learning Ki Hoalu guitar, my biggest musical influence was my Uncle Mike. He taught me how to play this classic tune written by Ki Hoalu legend Leonard Kwan. Later, I got deep into listening to the Hui Ohana, and I heard Ledward Kaapana play it and was so blown away that I started playing it like him. Well, as close as I could get anyway.
