Here’s one that you might have to watch a few times to really understand, depending on your experience with fretboard navigation. Trust me though, it’s worth it to gain an understanding of the way our particular instrument is laid out. When you begin to see the fretboard as more of a matrix rather than just 4 strings tied to a box, you’ll be able to start to see the “sound pictures” that musicians use to “color” their playing!
