I come from Mililani. One town over is Wahiawa. Home of some pretty well known local bands. One of my favorites growing up was Island Rhythms. Their version of this song was one of the tunes that got me into Hawaiian Music. Pua Olena wasn’t an Island Rhythms exclusive, but it was one of my “gateway” tunes that developed my love for my native music. Hope you like this one!
